  • John Belizaire Chief Executive Officer

    John is a serial entrepreneur who successfully founded, scaled, and sold multiple technology companies, including FirstBest, an insurance software company acquired by Guidewire, and The Theory Center, a software company acquired by BEA Systems. Before becoming an entrepreneur, John was the lead architect for Intel’s Digital Enterprise Group. He has a BS and MS in Computer Science from Cornell University.

  • Dipul Patel Chief Technology Officer

    Dip is a technologist, engineer, and entrepreneur. He’s the founder of Ecovent, a smart home technology company sold to ConnectM in 2016. Before Ecovent, Dip led the design, development, and production of complex radar hardware systems at Lockheed Martin. Dip has a BSEE from Drexel University, an MSEE from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

  • Phillip Ng Vice President, Corporate Development

    Phillip is an Associate at Brookstone Partners and manages business development opportunities related to Blockchain at Soluna. Before joining Brookstone, Phillip worked as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory group as well as in the Financial Advisory Group of Deloitte Chile. He holds a BBA in Economics and Finance from the University of Georgia. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

  • Larbi Loudiyi Managing Director, A.M Wind

    Larbi co-founded, managed and successfully grew A.M Wind SARL, an energy development company based in Morocco and acquired by Soluna in June 2018. Before A.M Wind, Larbi founded renewable energy consulting firm Cbiom whose customers comprised of leading French energy companies. Larbi is an engineer with a decade of experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency. He holds a Master of Science in engineering from the Polytechnic National Institute of Lorraine, France.

  • Dwight L. Bush Former US Ambassador to Morocco

    Ambassador​ ​(Ret)​ ​Bush ​served as the U.S. Ambassador to Morocco from 2014 to 2017. He​ ​is​ ​currently​ ​President ​​of​ ​DL Bush & ​Associates, ​a strategic advisory firm based in Washington DC. Prior to that, he held positions at Chase, Sallie Mae, Stuart Mill Capital, and was CEO of Urban Trust Bank. Bush brings his vast experience in government relations, public relations, geopolitical strategy, capital sourcing, and communications to Soluna’s advisory board. As Soluna scales to create a large clean energy crypto-economy, Bush provides the company with invaluable political contacts that operate on a global scale.

  • Ari Juels Co-Director of the Initiative for Cryptocurrencies and Contracts

    Ari is a Computer Science faculty member at Cornell Tech. He was previously Chief Scientist at RSA. Ari’s interests span a broad range of topics in computer security, Blockchains, cryptocurrency, smart contracts, cryptography, and privacy. As an advisor, Ari’s academic background regarding the future of mining lends Soluna useful context for charting a clean energy blockchain future. With a professional background that has one foot in the world of hands-on laboratory work and one foot in the academic world, he has wide-ranging contacts that can help Soluna recruit new talent and provide deeper understanding of blockchain research evolution.

  • Murat Akdeniz Founder Mirian Blockchain for Social Finance

    Murat is the Founder and the CEO of Mirian, a social finance company offering a suite of smart contract and decentralized financial products. Prior to founding Mirian, Murat was part of the engineering and data science teams at JP Morgan Chase's Intelligent Solutions division. As an advisor, he brings expertise in the realm of blockchain networks, wallets, and cybersecurity. Murat’s experience creating scalable enterprise technology provides us assistance in our mission to build a far-reaching blockchain infrastructure that relies on clean energy.

  • Timo Hanke Former CTO, Cointerra

    Timo is the head of engineering at DFINITY, a Blockchain startup that is building a decentralized computing cloud. Timo is a cryptocurrency, crypto-mining, ASIC, and Blockchain expert. He is also CTO of Mavvilab and former CTO of Cointerra. As an advisor, Timo brings a background as a Bitcoin enthusiast and an early contributor to the core Bitcoin software. Timo advises us on technical endeavors while providing Soluna with access to different experts in the fields of mining technology, Bitcoin, blockchain networks, Chips- ASIC/GPU, and HashTanks.

  • Sanjeev Kumar Energy Veteran

    Sanjeev has over 20 years of experience in global energy markets, including alternative energy. As CFO he has done two recent successful IPOs for Enphase Energy and Terraform Power. Sanjeev is committed to meeting the rising demand for energy through environmentally responsible means. His goals and interests align closely with Soluna’s drive toward a clean energy blockchain future. Sanjeev provides Soluna with a deep experience in global energy markets, energy technology, energy strategy, and energy service contracts.

  • Bill Phelan Successful Private Equity Investor

    As a General Partner in a private equity firm, Bill led investments in industries that were positively transformed by the emergence of the Internet generating 35% IRRs over 10-year time horizons. As a technologist, Bill founded and sold a technology company to America Online and continues to develop a number of high growth companies in the digital media and Blockchain space. As an advisor to Soluna, Phelan brings extensive experience and expertise in the world of capital markets and datacenter operations. His ongoing executive experience as both a CEO and director at various large-scale enterprises will allow him to recruit talent to Soluna as well as advise on business and operations decisions.

    Michael is the founder Brookstone Partners and currently serves on the board of directors of Instone and Mechanical Technology. He helps Brookstone portfolio companies like Soluna expand into new markets, strengthen operations, and implement financial discipline. Michael holds a BA and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

  • Matthew Lipman Private Equity

    Matthew joined Brookstone in 2004 and actively works with portfolio companies on organizational transformation and managing capital structures. He currently serves on the board of directors of Denison, Instone, and Mechanical Technology. Matthew received his BS from Babson College in Business Administration.

  • Chuck Dana Global Executive

    Chuck is an operating partner at Brookstone Partners. Before Brookstone, he held executive positions at GE Locomotives Indonesia and Owens Corning. Chuck received a BA from Dartmouth College in Economics.
